The Baby Life Seat^TM (BLS) prototype has been built with the cooperation and input of the United States Coast Guard (USCG). It has been tested at Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and, after the production models have been tested, will be the first ever universal travel infant carrier (for all three transportation modes), Child Restraint Seat (CRS).

The Baby Life Seat^TM is an entirely new and innovative Personal Flotation Device (PFD) for infants and toddlers and visually resembles the automotive infant / toddler seats, or CRS, most of us are familiar with. In testing the prototype, its flotation capability has met USCG IMO/SOLAS* requirements to accommodate children from birth to 30 pounds in weight.

The BLS is a patented flotation device. There are other patents pending for our recent and most up to date improvements. The BLS will meet all Federal Safety requirements for watercraft, automotive and aircraft use. It floats, self rights, and will be USCG Certified as the FIRST- EVER PFD FOR INFANTS AND TODDLERS. It will also be tested for and meet federal motor vehicle safety requirements, for seat integrity and weight / height standards, under regulation FMVSS 213.
